About Me
Hello! My name is Peggy Robbins, and I’m here to help guide you through your child’s or young adult’s academic journey. I hold a B.S. in Education from Indiana University, a M.Ed. in Educational Leadership from St. Xavier University, and a M.S. in Human Services and Counseling from DePaul University. With over a decade of experience in the educational field as a middle school science teacher and school counselor, I’ve had the privilege of working closely with students. Through this experience, I recognized the importance of individualized support for developing executive function skills. It has always been a passion of mine to work with students to set them up for success in school and beyond.
What is Executive Function (EF) Coaching?
Executive Function Coaching is a specialized support service designed to alleviate academic challenges and foster success in school. Each coaching plan is carefully tailored to meet the unique needs of your child, focusing on key areas such as:
- Enhancing time management skills and improving schedule regulation
- Developing systems for prioritizing goals, initiating tasks, and transforming procrastination into productive action
- Strengthening organizational habits and systems for daily routines
- Teaching stress management techniques to better handle emotional dysregulation
- Empowering students to advocate for themselves and their needs
With over a decade of experience as both a classroom teacher and school counselor, I am well-equipped to provide your child with personalized strategies, techniques, and support to help them thrive academically and personally.
