About Me
Welcome! My name is Peggy Robbins and I am here to help you navigate your child's or young adult's academic experience. I graduated with a B.S. in Education from Indiana University, a M.Ed. in Educational Leadership from St. Xavier University, and a M.S. from DePaul University in Human Services and Counseling. I have worked in the educational arena as a middle school science teacher and school counselor for over a decade. During this time, I saw the need for individualized time spent on executive function skills. It has always been a joy of mine to work with students to help set them up for success in school.
What is Executive Function (EF) Coaching?
Executive Function coaching is a specialized form of support to take the struggle out of school. Each plan will be uniquely designed with your child in mind helping them to:
- Improve time management skills, and better regulate schedules,
- Create systems for prioritizing goals, initiating tasks, and turning procrastination into action.
- Improve daily organizational habits & systems,
- Work on stress management techniques for managing emotional dysregulation.
- Advocate for themselves and their needs.
With over a decade of experience in the classroom and as a school counselor I am equipped to provide your student with individualized strategies, techniques, and support to help your student flourish.
